Where Have I Been?

The key to a successful blog—or so I'm told—is to update it daily. Or at least regularly. So naturally, I haven't added anything to this one for eight days.

You might be wondering where I've been. ("Where Have I Been" was actually the title of Sid Caesar's autobiography in the 1980s. I have a signed copy somewhere. Isn't that fascinating?) More likely, you don't really care. And I'm not particularly anxious to discuss it, so let's just leave it alone for now.

Anyway, I thought this essay was worth reading, so here it is. Fortunately, it's not very long.
